Each camp is unique as are the schedules and itineraries. Summer camp arrival is from 8:45 am - 9 am. Students will have a small project to work on while waiting for others to arrive. We will promptly begin our projects once all students have arrived. We typically complete 10-12 projects in a week which breaks down to 2-3 projects each day. Students are welcome to take restroom breaks as needed throughout the day. Our staff provides a snack around 11:45 am. Pick up is at 12:00 - 12:15 pm.

Our camps and classes are ran like a classroom setting in a school except more fun! We love to have fun, but we also take learning and safety seriously. We want our students to have the best experience possible to learn and create. Once all campers arrive, the front door will be locked until pick up time. Parents will sign their children out at the door.
A Behavior Policy is in place. Parents will find the details when registering students online. We do not tolerate any type of bullying and will discuss any concerns or issues directly with parents.
Each project during our classes and camps utilizes a variety of mediums, tools, and techniques with student objectives in mind. Nearly all projects meet the following Ohio Standards:
3.2PE Demonstrate expressiveness and purposeful use of materials and tools.
4.2PE Select and vary materials, tools, and processes to achieve innovative outcomes.
5.2PE Develop technical skills to strengthen artmaking.
6.3PE Purposefully incorporate the elements of art and principles of design to construct works of art.
7.2 PE Explore materials to design and create works of art.
8.2PE Select materials and techniques to independently create works of art.
Class discussions and reviews take place with each project. Our instructor often utilizes digital slides or videos, offers visual demonstrations and auditory instructions. We work with students by providing step by step instructions and allows students to create with freedom. Students are encouraged to ask questions and to give a verbal review of the project.
Art Camps include a student Art Show to display and discuss their works with family and friends.
Classes and Camps are designed and instructed by Rachel McCall. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Shawnee State University and has over 7 years of classroom experience. Rachel frequently participates in online and in person educational trainings and demonstrations.
